I have felt a bit low for past sometime. I have felt lonely. And I have felt bad. Worst, I felt bad about myself.

And then just 5 minutes before I quite, I came across this poem.

When things go wrong as they sometimes will.
When the road you’re trudging seems all up hill.

When the funds are low, and debts are high
And you want to smile but you have to sigh

When care is pressing you down a bit.
Rest if you must, but Dont You Quit.

Life is queer with it’s twists and turns.
As everyone of us sometimes learns.

And many a failure turns about.
When he might have won had he stuck it out.

Don’t give up though the pace seems slow.
You may succeed with another blow.

Often the goal is nearer than
It seems to a faint and faltering man

Often the struggler has given up
When he might have captured the Victor’s Cup

Week Of Celebrations

Last week has been hectic….tiring….disordered….and what not….you can also so it was madenning….a complete mad house….but whatever it was….it was one of the best weeks I had in a long long time….(of course around 3-4 weeks back I had amazing weekend as well)…but this one is right up on the charts…..there were many things that made it so much fun….on second august….Mehnoor turned One….she is my best gift of all time….and I have been looking forward to this day for atleast last four months….in april only I have asked my manager to grant me offs on 2-3 august….thats another story that I didnt get any offs….so I had to manage without that…..since the night of first and before that I have been feeling so excited for her birthday…as it was a weekday and Mehtaab has planned a program later in the week…I was bit upset…but I wanted to make sure that Mehnoor celebrates her first birthday on the very same day….so I asked Mehtaab to make sure that she reaches our places at 8pm on 2nd august…as I could only get an off for two hours….and at office there has been good load of work as well…as I have been working on a project at office which needed immediate attention….and faster completion….so I could gather two hours from there I was happy….so at 8 I reach home…nanimaji is already there…and mummy has already done decoration of birthday with balloons and what not for Mehnoor….and….oh my god….who is bringing the cake…i didnot…pops already home…with backache…so he cant…damn…call Mehtaab….hehe….and ask her to bring the cake….and she does….a beautiful one…for the beautiful girl….when Mehnoor arrived….she knew it is something special…and boy did she act like someone special….she knew…all the way…that its her birthday….enjoying all the wishes… balloons…presents…cakes…and all that she could…..when I look at Sukhveen and Mehnoor…I see myself in them…I remember my b’day parties…when I was in front of the camera…and now I am behind the camera..making sure I capture each and every moment of theirs to cherish forever….and don’t you even ask how I got the camera….I dropped mine some while back…its in repair center…so I had to loan one…don’t ask….its difficult for me to be without a camera….Baljit actually its too difficult….you don’t even ask…Rupinder…you listening….actually Rupinder has taken with her my camera to get it repaired…..so I had fun with kids and its ten and time to get back to office…and when I said so….Sukhveen who was in full mood to have fun…and he brought me a present as well…its hanging on my wall…tried his level best to delay….he would just one minute I need to talk to you…and take me to another room…and said sit…lets talk…and I am thinking what to talk….sweet kid….but need to get back to office…so I reached office and back to work….and at the stroke of midnight….mompops called….always the first one…and then phone was busy so was my messenger….wishes from all…and did I enjoy it…ofcourse I did…and then Madam Vatsala, my ex-manager and now buddy of mine suggests…that we go uphill after the shift….shift gets over at 0630 hrs….so we can go uphill have bday cake there and come back….not a bad suggestion…so now I just need to catch hold of everyone who will be ready….managed few…so eagerly waited for 7 am….and bang…bang bang bang….program cancelled…as madamji has gone to sleep….so lets go home…we will see what to do now…no programs lined up for the day….go to gurudwara on way back home…and spend time with momdad….and work on the project….sleep…getup…work on the project…go to office…work on the project….everybody asking for party…work on the project…and in between somewhere received calls from all wishing me…and in between that got call from Vatsala as well….though I was sleeping so mom didn’t wake me up….Vatsala don’t kill me for this…I can help but share….being a Leo herself….Vatsala thought lets take a cake for Harnek…(Vatsala, how did this cake look like…cake1…cake2….)…and ask Ekta to come along and lets celebrate…though didn’t get chance to speak to her…and when she tried Ekta..she was sleeping as well…she took the cake to her home and put it in the refrigerator….okay…one minute gone…two…three….five….seven…ten….what the heck….lets celebrate Harnek’s Birthday…it doesn’t make any difference if he isn’t here….its wishes that count for…and said “Happy Birthday Harnek”…cut the cake and ate a big fat piece out of choclate cake….yummy….wow…it tastes so good….but why this feeling of guilt about it….so to lessen the guilt shared the cake with the maid of house….and then go to Ekta place to share the guilt and eat the entire cake…and where does the birthday boy fit in all this….oh…he gets the wishes…lots of wishes…hehe…funny…I will remember this for a long long time….so somehow I managed through third without any party….and parties we used to have on my birthday….they were always fun….all my buddies along with me….and now I miss them a lot….Anurag Amitpal Baljit Kanwal Puneet Ieshant Karan Ankur Vishal Rishi Sachin….the first five moved down under to Australia….so I have to wait for a good deal of time to meet them all together….the rest busy in their work….everyone has grown up…no chance of getting together….but I wanted to make sure that we all meet….and thing of coincidence I share my birthdate with Sumita…one of my ex-teammates….one of the nicest girls you will meet…and everyone from office has been asking for the party as well…so both us decided to have a party on fourth…as on third she already had some plans…and what to do on fourth….hmmmm…..alright…snack+movie+dinner….or lunch+movie….option a ruled out…as have to be at office in the night….so went for option b….which movie…its all upto you girl…and she decides for Partner….alright…program done….now lets invite everyone and make sure that everyone come….so spent some good one hour confirming from all their availability and program and booked the tickets….knowing my team…I know its toooo difficult to plan an outing with them….however almost everyone agreed…strange…I really can’t believe….so all set….lets meet on fourth at two pm at Pizza Hut….Baljit…we had pizza…check the pics…missed you dude….haha….and reached there on time…and again the story of cake…who is bringing the cake….two people having their birthday….how many people bringing the cake….too many cakes or no cakes….you never know….however Sukhraj the biggie did bring in the cake….and did this big guy with brain in his knees forgot the name of the Birthday Girl….dumbo….did I feel embarassed…did she will bad….Sumita do tell me….and Sukhraj you gotta apologise to her dude….haha….whatever the cake was good….you can actually see Sumita giving the rating to the cake….I believe if she felt bad about her name missing on the cake….after eating she didn’t…I bet on that….now pizzas done…what next…move for the movie….and we had ten tickets…six people Me Sumita Ekta Meenakshi Sukhraj Mohit sir…two, Ajay Anurag, backed off…two, Chetan Sanjeev, didnt reach at theatre as planned…so what to do of four tickets….sell them…what else…so thats what we did…blacked them…hehe…naah….we sold three only….because Sukhraj said he need two seats…you can check his pics and you can actually see he needs two…haha….and was movie good….it was fun to watch with all the buddies….and now its time to go back home and have some sleep….and did I need that sleep…two hours of powernap….atleast made me ready for the hectic day ahead….midnight shift…come back…at ten…Kirtan at Mehtaab’s on ocassion of Mehnoor’s first birthday…..me tired but its for Mehnoor…can’t say no to these kids….and did I enjoy it…I enjoyed clicking their pics more than anything….Sukhveen kept busy with his gang…check out their pic on stairs…one of the best that I ever clicked….and Mehnoor with me and pops…and all the guests….loads of fun….and as the program went…got tired…and still the cake is left….so had to wait for the cake to come in….and oye…are these two kids learning from each other….if Sukhveen put his both hands in the cake on his bday…how can Mehnoor be left behind….and she did….though everyone tried many time…she had fun…and by that time…battery on camera went off…so not many pics….got the video…will show some day else…and now get back home….need to sleep….as got another party in the evening….thats another story how we fixed on time…thanks to Vishal and Rishi…and the story of fixing the venue is even longer…thanks to Preedidi and Pops….time eight pm….at Antheia….and before the host arrives….all the guests are already there….haha….funny…..Vishal Sachin Rishi+Maninder Ankur+Anu Karan Jasjeet Nanima Mamaji Mehtaab Tarmindervirji Sukhveen Mehnoor Mom Dad Harpreet me….and I missed all my buddies downunder and all others….and my mom dad missed their Hot Daughter In Law….haha…..thats my prayer….it was fun….though as Vishal bahiya said…this is too formal….point taken….next time it will be at home….for sure….and once done with dinner and all the gifts head back home….again time for power nap…and this time just for one hour….and again midnight shift….and next morning back at eight…thanks to Mohit sir…for letting me go home early….and after breakfast and everything…in bed at 0930 to be awaken up by mom at 2330….wow…was that sleep pending or what….whatever it was…it was one fun week…and I still missed out on party…Vatsala Poonam Ekta you know and I know we have to go out….and we will….this weekend program cancelled…as have to go to cousin’s wedding….however we will get many more weekends to come….party for sure….thanks to all who sent there wishes my way….I am need for them always….enjoy the pics….and be part of the celebrations…..hehe…..

I have been pushing my sis to get her own website/blog for long time. And she has always been declining the idea saying this is a kid thing. So after me pitching in the idea every now and then with different ways different examples, I managed for her accepting and working on it. Though the deal was simple that I will do the admin work for site, take care of tech part and she has to do the rest, I mean she has to keep the blog updated. And in return I asked her to visit us every second week. However since the time we put up her site, she has just visited twice. Thats another story.

Hi,

Its 2007. It was 1997. Its been 10 years.

Wow time has passed by and seems like yesterday, that we all were together going to morning assembly. Since last ten years, I have gained much and hopefully you all have also. And though I been in and out of touch with many, a though came to my mind, about our 10 Year Reunion/Get Together. What do you say? Seems like a good idea.

Great.

Now its gonna take sometime, and I was thinking to get it done some in Sep/Oct/Nov this year. Few things are to be done, get as many classmates as possible from yesteryears, so for that I need your assistance. Please do send me information about classmates from Section A,B,C, with whom you are in touch with. Send me Name ofcourse, email, phone number, both landline and mobile. And any other information.

I dont know whether I will be able to plan in what way, however I am positive, if we all input some effort we will be able to get it done. Do send me your inputs. I am relying heavily on that.

Though in class 7th, there was a split in the sections, so I am listing names according to the status in 1997, when we passed 10th class.
